Privacy policy
Effective August 10, 2026. The short version: we built this site to need as little of your data as possible, and then we didn’t collect the rest.
What we do not collect
There are no user accounts, so we hold no emails, names or passwords. The portfolio tracker and calculators run entirely in your browser: holdings, amounts and results are stored in your device’s local storage and are never transmitted to us. Wallet addresses you check are sent directly from your browser to public blockchain infrastructure, not through our servers.
What reaches third parties
Live prices load in your browser from market-data APIs (CoinGecko, alternative.me, Blockstream and public Ethereum RPC endpoints). Those requests expose your IP address to the respective provider, exactly as visiting any website does — their own privacy policies apply. Outbound links to our exchange partner lead to CEX.IO, whose policy governs anything you do there.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and capacity planning. Logs rotate and are deleted on a short schedule and are not merged with any other dataset — there is no other dataset to merge them with.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Local storage is used solely to keep your portfolio on your device; deleting site data in your browser removes it completely and irreversibly.
Your choices and contact
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to request, export or erase on our side — your browser is the system of record. Privacy questions: support@coin-stats.io.
